Ms. Menuka Basnet Bisht is a Gender Equality Social Inclusion (GESI) expert with more than 15 years’ experience on protection, gender equality, women empowerment and GESI responsive Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). From 2010 to 2015, she used to work as Protection Officer in District Women and Children Office, Kanchanpur. After the Gorkha Earthquake, she worked as a GBV coordinator in the Emergency Response Project at Gorkha Hub for UNFPA, contributed to manage project. She has in-depth knowledge and skill of facilitation GESI, DRR, Advocacy and Menstruation Health and Hygiene Training at federal, provincial and local level. Currently, she has been working for REED Nepal, as a DRR and GESI Trainer in the Disaster Resilience Schools Project (DRSP) since February 2021. Moreover, she is a good writer, women's rights activist and development expert who can contribute to uplift the resiliency of the poor and marginalized.
